In detail

The experience is divided into two parts, the enjoyment-mode, and the explorer-mode. Both simultaneously play thirty separated audio tracks featuring the isolated instruments. Their respective volume, levels, and speed are what make the particles come to life.

Whereas the enjoyment-mode lets you wander through fireworks of dancing particles, the explorer-mode takes you to a garden-like visualization where the audio tracks are displayed continuously with colorful particle „plants“. Using simple hand gestures tracked by a head-mounted Leap Motion, you can isolate the instruments or skip through Bizets „Carmen“ overture to your heart’s content – no controller needed!

INTO MUSIC combines spatial classical music with modern VR technology to bridge the generational gap and enrich the sensation of opera with an exciting audiovisual experience.
